In fact, by January 2021, Android boasted a smartphone OS market share of over 70%. What’s more, it’s expected that it will keep its leadership position in the market and will account for more than 80% of all smartphone shipments by 2023. 

Needless to say, there’s a long list of apps that will be of use to influencers and brands who create content, as well as anybody who chooses to schedule their social media posts. We’ve already looked at 25 of the top influencer apps for iOS. Many of the apps we covered in that article also have Android versions in the Google Play Store. Adictik ambassadors have a choice of 2,500 brands and 15,000 logos they can choose from. They can take pictures of themselves wearing branded clothing and share them on Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and Tumblr.

You can take use the app to create your own ads, incorporating the appropriate product logo. You can then share your ads on your social networks and compete to win “shakas” in weekly competitions hosted by the brands.

3. AlphaPost


AlphaPost is a social media automation tool, focusing on Twitter. You can use it to schedule and post tweets whenever you want..

You can queue your tweets, creating them whenever you feel like it, but delaying their sending until a more appropriate time. You can select what you believe is the optimal time to send each tweet.

If you are a large-scale tweeter (an influencer perhaps) you can create a CSV spreadsheet of your posts and import it into AlphaPost, ready for the posts to be sent out at the appropriate times.

Unlike some of the bigger name scheduling apps, AlphaPost is both free to use and ad-free.

4. Buffer


Buffer is one of the better-known social media scheduling services, and it includes a native Android app as one means to access it.

You can use Buffer to share posts to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest and LinkedIn.

As its name suggests, you build up a buffer of scheduled posts, ready to be delivered according to your custom schedule.

You can share to multiple accounts. Buffer provides useful analytics about each update you share, including numbers of clicks, retweets, repins, likes, shares, and mentions.

The free plan allows you to connect up to 4 social accounts, with 10 scheduled posts per profile. There are a variety of paid plans with greater capabilities.

5. Buzzoole


Buzzoole is an influencer marketing platform where users can analyze their social media profiles (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) and discover their best topics of influence.

Buzzoole connects brands wanting to launch influencer marketing campaigns with a potential influencer in exchange for Buzzoole credits that can be converted into Amazon Gift Certificates.

With more than a million installs, Planoly is one of the most popular apps for scheduling posts for Pinterest and Instagram. As you would expect of an app, it’s simple to use. Thanks to its grid system and drag-and-drop feature, it makes it easy to plan and create a post while on the go. It also lets you comment on posts within the app to help you keep your engagement right up there. What makes it so great is that it places a lot of emphasis on visuals. As Instagram is all about visuals, you need an app that gets that and enables you to plan your content visually.

You can schedule and save posts for later, or even submit them to someone else for approval. It ties together with Falcon’s desktop editorial calendar.

Thre is also a paid pro version which adds additional features. These include a premium design catalog, the ability to add a custom logo, premium music, and font libraries, the ability to schedule your posts, and the ability to save and export MP4 files of the videos you create.

18. Snapseed

Every influencer needs to have a reliable app for editing photos. Developed by Google, Snapseed has all the features that you’ll need, while still remaining intuitive so that even beginners will be able to find their way around the app. All in all, it’s one of our all-time favorite apps and go-to tools if we need to edit photos. 

From applying vintage looks to playing around with double exposure, it offers a huge range of tools. More advanced photo editors can also use the app to adjust elements like white balance and tonal contrast within a few clicks. 

One of its most useful features is that it lets you create your own filters. This way, you can save a specific look and apply the same edits to your other images for better brand consistency.

21. Takumi

If Instagram is your preferred channel and you have a following of at least 1,000 real followers, be sure to check out Takumi. They’ve worked with some of the world’s top brands that include the likes of Samsung, L’Oreal, Nike, and Visa. This is made possible by their robust vetting process. Though, they still respect creative talent and keep campaign briefs broad enough to allow influencers to express their own authentic style.

An influencer can manage everything in the app, with no need for a desktop or emails.

23. TribeFluence

Not to be confused with TRIBE - Influencer, TribeFluence is another app that offers brands and influencers the chance to connect. Whether you prefer to interact on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, or YouTube, TribeFluence will help to match you with the ideal brand. Unlike other apps where you need to submit a proposal, TribeFluence will reach out to you if they think they’ve found a campaign for which you’ll be a good fit.

One of its main advantages is that it’s also suitable for micro-influencers searching for a way to monetize their content. Plus, influencers can use the app free of charge as brands will be charged per campaign, making it a good option if you’re new to influencer marketing.

You can automatically schedule your posts for Facebook, Twitter, WordPress, Flickr, Medium, LinkedIn, Tumblr and more - in fact, Xsopo works with 16 social networks.

It is free to schedule 10 posts across three social profiles per month. The paid version increases this to 150 posts across 15 social profiles.
