AG1 Manager of YouTube Partnerships Alexis Hurwitz will speak at Creator Economy Live East on July 29. Her session will examine how brands can use AI while preserving the creator trust and product conviction required to reach audiences experiencing content fatigue.
AI can help influencer teams assess more creators, process more data, and make campaign decisions faster.
Audiences bring a different priority to the equation. They want recommendations that feel credible, relevant, and consistent with the creator they chose to follow.
Alexis Hurwitz will explore the relationship between those two forces at Creator Economy Live East in New York City on July 29.
As Manager of YouTube Partnerships at AG1, Hurwitz works in a category where creator credibility carries particular weight. Her session, titled“AI Is for Authentic Influencer: How to Cut Through to a Fatigued Audience,” will place that challenge inside a wider discussion about how technology can support creator marketing while preserving the qualities that make influence persuasive.
AG1 Gives Authenticity an Operational Meaning
Authenticity has become one of creator marketing’s most frequently used terms. AG1’s approach shows what the concept can look like inside a creator vetting process.
During a previous panel at Google’s New York headquarters for YouTube Day, Hurwitz explained that the brand begins by sending its product to a prospective partner.
The creator needs time to experience the product, decide whether they enjoy the taste, and understand how it fits into their routine. Commercial discussions follow once that alignment becomes clear.
“We want to send our product to a partner and make sure they like the taste, that they like what it does for them,” Hurwitz said.
The sequence matters because health and wellness recommendations rely heavily on personal experience. A creator who already understands the product can speak about it with greater specificity and connect it naturally to their existing content.
Product experience therefore becomes an early qualification signal alongside the demographic, pricing, and performance data used later in the process.
Creator Archives Reveal the Relationship Behind the Reach
AG1’s evaluation continues beyond the creator’s latest posts or headline audience figures.
Hurwitz said the team reviews a prospective partner’s archive of videos and studies how they interact with viewers in the comment section. The process provides a broader view of the relationship a creator has built with their community.
Previous videos reveal how creators introduce products, structure recommendations, and balance sponsored content with their usual programming. Comment sections show whether viewers ask questions, share experiences, and treat the creator as a trusted source.
Those signals provide context that a follower count or average view total can struggle to capture alone.
AI can potentially make large volumes of content and audience information easier to examine. Hurwitz’s upcoming session arrives as brands consider how to use those capabilities while keeping creator evaluation connected to product fit, audience behavior, and human judgment.
Ten Thousand Views Can Carry More Value Than One Hundred Thousand
Hurwitz’s clearest observation from YouTube Day challenged the assumption that greater reach always produces greater value.
“We could have a video that has 10,000 views that will do more for us than one with 100,000 views,” she said.
A smaller video can reach an audience with stronger interest in the subject, greater confidence in the creator, or a closer connection to the product being discussed. Those viewers may also give the recommendation more attention because it fits the creator’s established expertise.
For brands, the distinction changes how creator performance should be evaluated.
Views describe the size of the audience reached. They offer less information about the strength of the creator’s relationship with that audience or the relevance of the message.
Hurwitz said the relationship between a creator and their community can speak more loudly than the data supplied during the selection process. That idea gives her Creator Economy Live East session a clear foundation: technology can expand the information available to marketers, while the value of each partnership still depends on the people behind the numbers.
AI Creates Efficiency as Audiences Demand Greater Relevance
The pressure to combine both sides is growing.
Creator teams need ways to evaluate expanding talent pools, compare content histories, identify audience patterns, and measure campaign results. AI can make those workflows faster and give marketers more information before they commit budget.
Audience fatigue raises the standard for how that information is used.
Consumers regularly encounter sponsored recommendations across videos, podcasts, social feeds, and newsletters. Familiar campaign structures and repeated talking points become easier to recognize. Product conviction, creator discretion, and community relevance become more important as audiences develop sharper filters.
Longer creator relationships can also strengthen that credibility. Repeated use gives the creator more experience with the product and gives the audience time to associate the partnership with their established routine.
For AG1, creator selection begins with whether the person genuinely connects with the product. Data then helps the team assess the wider opportunity.
Creator Economy Live East Brings the Question to New York
Creator Economy Live East will bring more than 50 speakers and 500 brands to the New York Marriott Marquis. Its agenda includes more than 15 sessions covering creator relationships, campaign scale, employee voices, platform change, and measurable performance.
Hurwitz’s session addresses a tension running through many of those conversations.
AI gives influencer teams greater capacity to discover, evaluate, and manage creators. A fatigued audience still responds to product experiences and recommendations that feel earned.
The next stage of creator marketing will depend on how effectively brands bring those capabilities together.
